Act 4 Reflection

1. Do you feel sympathy for the Capulets, Nurse, and Paris when they express grief over Juliet's death? Why or why not? (Give an explanation for each):

Capulets: I feel sympathy for the Capulet because Juliet is their only child and her death was a surprise to them. " Oh me, oh me! My child, my only life! Revive, look up, or i will die with thee!" On the other hand, i don't feel that bad for them because at first, they didn't really care about her and didn't pay attention to her.

Nurse: I feel so much sympathy for the nurse because Juliet was like a daughter to her and she loved her so much. The nurse was greatly overcome with grief when she discover Juliet dead.

Paris: I don't feel any sympathy for Paris because he didn't really care about Juliet, he just saw her as a property he bought. "Thy face is mine, and thou has slandered it."

2. How might older and younger audiences differ in their opinion of Romeo's and Juliet's actions? Explain your opinion by using specific examples from the play.
Older audiences might feel that Juliet and Romeo are just doing all what they did because they are young and inmature and don't really know what they are getting themselves into.
Younger audiences might feel that they are truly in love.

3. Do you believe the risks that Juliet have taken are justified in her attempt to avoid marriage with Paris? Could Juliet have gotten out of the marriage in any other way? Explain your opinion using details from Act 3 and Act 4.
I believe the risks that Juliet have taken are justified for her love for Romeo because she is married to him and loves him dearly. Juliet was ready to leave all that she has behind and be with Romeo. Even when her parents threatened  to disown her, she still wanted to be with Romeo.
